Lily Rose Beatrice Allen (born 2 May 1985)
is a British singer-songwriter and is the daughter of actor/musician Keith Allen and film producer Allison Owen. She was born in Hammersmith, west London and is known for her mockney
style. Beginning her career, Allen was rejected several times but she
gained popularity when she created an account on Myspace and began posting demos
in November 2005.
Lily Allen's debut album, Alright, Still,
was released on July 3rd 2006 and her second is being released this year (It's
Not Me, It's You).
